I managed to effectively softlock my progress shortly after getting enemy ships showing up. I didn't have the titanium for the defense system yet, and you can't grab them. I started to permanently lose hooks to them as well, being unable to fire them. Eventually I lost all my hooks and by then I was a sitting duck. They'd shoot me and make me lose more titanium then I could get at that point as my only way of pulling in asteroids was with the graviton nexus skill.
If this were fixed, I'd love to come back and see more of it. But right now, it's incredibly frustrating to be faced with something that I literally have no means to get the solution for the problem.
The enemies appearing before you get defenses is intended, it's a challenge to get the resources while the enemies are trying to stop you. But you should'nt lose hooks, the hooks can be used to interecept bullets but you get the hook back. Aren't you getting the hook back? If so, how can i reproduce it to fix it?
A temporal solution can be restartarting the game.
Refreshing the window did give me my hooks back, but they would disappear again eventually. I'm not certain as to what the trigger was exactly, but it seemed to be something to do with intercepting the projectiles that would be the cause of me losing them. Not sure how exactly you have it on the back end, but it's possible it is subtracting an extra hook for being destroyed, but still only restoring the 1 when it would've returned? It felt more common when I intercepted very close to my ship, but that could also just be because I felt under more pressure and thus noticed it more readily.

As far as I know itch.io + unity Web doesn't allow resizing the view so I set the resolution to an standard one
That was a bit of a grind. I had to give up once the game started throwing 50 ships at a time at you, each attacking for 1/3 of my crystals
Ty for the feedback, I have to lower the amount of enemies when the notoriety is high. Did you manage to get the wasp missile?
Yes, via LOTS of grinding. Like I'm still feeling wrist pain from it a week later. It's worth it, though!
What I would recommend is that they don't touch crystals (and maybe very few chips, SUPER rarely). It might make it too easy, but it would also reduce frustration.
It's such a fun game and destroyed me for similar games in the genre, I noticed.
Enemies shouldn't remove circuits or crystals I will check that
Yeah, it wiped out about 4 hours worth of crystal grinding in one hit.

Autosmelt please.
There is an autosmelt upgrade later in the game, meanwhile you can upgrade the storage to smelt less times.
So it becomes an idle game later in the game.
